Bubble Trouble and Debt's Shaky Return - European Private Equity 2011

5 May 2011

Real Deals Europe

Hogan Lovells recently played host to the cream of the UK private equity industry, in a debate on the European private equity market, which was organised in partnership with Real Deals magazine.

The event, held at Atlantic House on 24 March, was an opportunity for clients to network and attend panel discussions on two key motions:

  • A use it or lose it mentality and pressure to raise funds is creating a mini bubble just waiting to burst.
  • A permanent contraction in the debt market means private equity will never return to its former glory.

The results of the panel and the issues raised at the event are explored in the Real Deals Europe Supplement May 2011 published today. See the link to the electronic copy below.

We hope you enjoy what we think is an excellent publication, and if you have any views or comments on the issues raised in it we would love to hear them.
