Bermuda takes steps to regulate ICOs

Bermuda is taking steps to regulate initial coin offerings (ICOs) in a bid to bring more business and economic growth to the island.

In a ministerial statement, the Premier and Minister of Finance of Bermuda, David Burt, gave an overview of a bill that will soon come for consultation. This will not be a new bill, but will contain proposed amendments to the Companies Act 1981 and the Limited Liability Company Act 2016.
