Belgium issues new warning about crypto fraud and updates its list of fraudulent platforms

The Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) has issued a further warning about cryptocurrency fraud and added 21 new suspect sites to its list cryptocurrency websites that show signs of fraud, bringing the total to 99.

The FSMA has once again told the public to beware of cryptocurrency schemes that claim to be "secure, easy and very lucrative", noting that, in spite of its prior warnings, cryptocurrency fraud continues to "trap ever more victims in Belgium".
