Awaiting the Federal Circuit's Decision on Venue in Patent Cases

On March 11, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit heard oral argument on a mandamus petition filed by TC Heartland. TC Heartland is the defendant in a patent infringement suit filed by Kraft Foods Group Brands in the District of Delaware, and the argument was about district court venue in patent infringement suits.
