Ellie Pszonka
Ellie is an associate in our London office and focuses her practice on product liability, product compliance and general commercial litigation. Ellie acts for clients around the world with respect to a wide range of products, including electronic products, connected technologies, toys, apparel, cosmetics and consumer products.

She advises clients in relation to the legal and commercial implications of European product safety and consumer protection laws, including advising on compliance, product markings and labelling, and consumer guarantees.  Her work is often multijurisdictional in nature and she regularly coordinates with lawyers in other jurisdictions and experts. 

Ellie also edits and writes for the International Product Liability Review, a quarterly publication focussing on important new developments in product liability and compliance.

Representative experience

Acting for a U.S. based technology company in relation to the development and launch of innovative electrical and electronic products on the EU market

Acting for an international consumer electronics manufacturer in defending product liability claims for personal injury and/or property damage

Successfully obtaining a strike out and summary judgment of a claim for damages against a global tobacco manufacturer

Assisting global manufacturers and suppliers of products in implementing and managing product recalls
