Philipp Lerch is convinced that forward-looking planning and efficient processes are essential for the successful completion of complex venture capital, growth capital, private equity and M&A transactions. He advises in particular on complex venture capital funding rounds in the fields of AI, Tech and Crypto. Both a lawyer and computer scientist, he develops tailor-made solutions for you, in particular using legal tech tools.
Already during his time as a trainee lawyer (Referendar), Philipp worked in Hogan Lovells' transactions team. This is where he discovered his passion for the complexity and dynamics of this field. In addition to his focus on venture capital, he also advises in the areas of growth capital, private equity and M&A. Thanks to the breadth of his practice, he always has an eye on the entire investment cycle.
In addition to his legal training, Philipp Lerch holds a bachelor's degree in computer science. Before joining Hogan Lovells, he worked in academia and as a legal tech manager at an international law firm. He gained further insights during his legal traineeship at the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport.
