Intellectual Property

Philipp Lehmann focuses on all kinds of IP rights, unfair competition and questions regarding domain and internet law. Primarily, he advises national and international companies from different industries on trademark, unfair competition, and domain law and gives support in portfolio management as well as contract design. Besides this strategic advice, he also represents his clients in disputes both in and out of court.

He studied law at the University of Münster. After his First State Exam in law, while writing his dissertation on a trademark and unfair competition law topic, he worked as scientific research assistant for the Intellectual Property, Media and Technology practice group at our Hamburg office. During his legal clerkship, Philipp inter alia worked in our Washington, D.C. office. He regularly publishes articles in law journals.

Representing and advising Caterpillar on trademark litigation and its portfolio management.

Constant legal representation of E. & J. Gallo Winery and advice on its portfolio management.

Advising and representing Facebook in trademark matters, in particular domain name matters.

Constant legal representation of AniMedica and advice on its portfolio management.

Representing and advising a well-known manufacturer of herb-flavoured spirits on trademark and competition law.
