As an experienced construction lawyer, Philip Hassett joined Hogan Lovells' London office from Perth, Australia. He brings extensive experience in construction matters from procurement strategy, contracting and due diligence to dispute resolution and litigation. In his role at Hogan Lovells, he focuses on the construction aspects of transactions in the property, projects, infrastructure, energy and natural resources sectors.
Philip has been involved in various PFI projects in the UK, advised on and prepared EPC contracts for various projects throughout Europe and worked with Rio Tinto on the Simandou project in Guinea. While in Australia on secondment at Woodside Energy, Philip worked on the Browse LNG project.
Embracing his strong sense of community, Philip's legal knowledge and deep commercial awareness was valuable in his role as a founding board member of a WA charity.
