Peter J. Meza

As counsel in our Intellectual Property Group, Peter Meza focuses on the drafting and prosecuting of patents and advising on licensing matters for U.S. and international semiconductor and high-technology electronics clients. He brings years of experience in prosecution and licensing for all aspects of the semiconductor and electronics industries.

Before joining the firm, Peter was patent counsel at Ramtron International Corporation, a specialty memory company in Colorado Springs now part of Cypress Semiconductor, where he supervised and grew the company's extensive patent portfolio.

Prior to joining Ramtron, Peter was in private practice at an intellectual property law firm in Portland, Oregon, where he wrote the briefs for the landmark in re Alappat en banc CAFC case. Peter trained extensively in patent law while employed in the patent department of Tektronix, Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon.

Before attending law school, Peter worked for nine years as an analog integrated circuit designer and is the holder of two U.S. patents.
