Katherine King has developed creative solutions to pressing challenges in foreign policy, trade, menu labeling, and financial technology.

She has more than seven years of experience working in public policy led by her institutional knowledge of Capitol Hill and extensive network in Latin America. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Katherine currently serves as a specialist working with the Government Relations practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Katherine was an associate director with the Atlantic Council's Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center where she led the center's bipartisan Colombia Task Force, the Mexico and North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) initiative, and was a contributing author of several publications. She also served as a legislative assistant for Representative Tony Cárdenas where she launched the Connecting the Americas Caucus, a bipartisan effort focused on strengthening U.S.-Latin America relations.

Katherine is a contributor to The Hill, a recurring commentator at conferences and industry meetings as well as Bloomberg's El Financiero TV, i24News, France24, CGTN, and SiriusXM. Her insight of the legislative and political process has been quoted by Brazil's O Globo, Spain's EFE, El Nuevo Herald, and La Nacion.
