Paula García has a broad range of experience advising multinational companies on issues ranging from data transfer projects to compliance programs in a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, insurance, financial services, and retail.

Paula advises companies on all aspects of data protection law and her legal and business administration background helps bring business-oriented solutions to clients. Having previously worked in Madrid, Paula has a good understanding of the variation in laws and regulatory environments in other countries and has experience in helping clients ensure a consistent approach across jurisdictions.

During her time in our Madrid office, Paula was a member of the Intellectual Property, Media, and Technology (IPMT) practice where she gained experience in advising clients on copyright, licensing and distribution, e-commerce, electronic signatures, and telecoms regulations.

Paula also has in-house experience in the insurance industry having spent several months working on the legal team of a global insurance company advising on a data mapping exercise and several General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) implementation projects.
