Thanks to her seasoned legal and market knowledge, Pascale Kewitz is able to secure her clients’ requirements in contract negotiations and disputes with competitors and authorities, in particular regarding regulatory aspects. Pascale focuses on the life science and commercial law area, advising pharmaceutical and medical device companies on regulatory, contractual and compliance questions. She supports her international and national clients by drafting and negotiating development and investigation agreements. In the commercial area, Pascale advises companies on contractual and trade law matters; one of her key areas is commercial agency law. 

During a five-months secondment, Pascale set up a new compliance structure at an international pharmaceutical company. Her ability to meet her client's needs and to find solutions for problems led to the success of the project. 

Pascale studied law at the universities of Frankfurt am Main and Osnabrück; she obtained her doctorate with a thesis on "Patent protection for biotechnological inventions under Community law".

Advising an international life sciences client as the German authorities complained about the classification of a product as cosmetic.

Coordinating the reporting of serious adverse events for an international medical device company during clinical trials conducted in Germany.

Assisting an international pharmaceutical company in all legal and regulatory questions during the change of the registered seat in Germany.

Advising an international pharmaceutical company with regard to pharmacovigliance and quality agreements.

Advising and representing a mobile phone provider with regard to the termination of commercial agency agreements.

Redrafting contract templates for an international life science company for the international distribution of chemical compounds.
