Ros O'Mally has over 20 years of experience in the infrastructure, energy, resources and projects sectors with a particular focus on project financing. Ros advises clients on the development and financing of transport, water treatment, telecommunications, energy, power and infrastructure projects including public private partnerships (PPPs) and privatisations. She has successfully closed many transactions that have been the first of their kind in Australia.

Ros acts on a broad range of projects for both borrowers and lenders. She advises ECA counterparties and has experience working with the public sector on state owned corporations. As a result, Ros brings a holistic and rounded approach to financings; she understands what drives all parties at the table and delivers a streamlined and efficient transaction supported by an astute team of commercially driven lawyers.

Advising the syndicate of financiers to the successful bid for the Port of Newcastle and the financiers to a bid for the $2bn Port of Botany and Port Kembla privatisation

Advising the sponsor in relation to the senior and mezzanine project financing of an electricity transmission line and delivery of power to the Roy Hill mine.
