As a partner in our Infrastructure, Energy, Resources and Projects Group, Ros O'Mally focuses her practice on project financing. She brings over 20 years of experience in the development and financing of energy, natural resource and other infrastructure projects including PPPs and privatisations in Australia. Ros has successfully closed transactions across numerous sectors including energy, transport, water treatment, telecommunications and power. Ros also has considerable experience with asset leasing transactions, including yellow goods supporting the resources and construction sector. Ros has a deep understanding of derivative transactions, having worked on secondments in investment banks supporting their trading desks. Ros has advised on the derivatives for complex long-term project financings; on cross currency and interest swaps for U.S. Term Loan B transactions; and on equity derivatives utilised as a precursor to M&A transactions.

Ros has acted on a broad range of projects for both borrowers and lenders. She has also advised ECA counterparties and has experience working with the public sector on state owned corporations. As a result Ros brings a rounded approach to financings because she understands the drivers of all of the parties at the table. Ros delivers a streamlined and efficient transaction and is supported by an astute team of commercially driven lawyers.
