D. Taylor Ocasio

D. Taylor Ocasio advises public and private companies on a wide variety of corporate and business matters. Based in our Philadelphia office, Taylor helps clients handle major transactions and also manages their day-to-day legal concerns.

Taylor advises public companies on capital markets offerings, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, ATMs, PIPES, and private placements. He also advises on divestitures and mergers and acquisitions. He also has comprehensive knowledge of commercial agreements, corporate governance, and SEC/Exchange compliance.

Taylor provides advice to private companies on mergers and acquisitions, private investments, and corporate restructurings. He has represented companies spanning a number of industries, with a focus on the life sciences and biotechnology sector.

Before joining Hogan Lovells, Taylor gained experience as an associate at another large law firm in Philadelphia, where he advised clients on a range of corporate and securities matters. He is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association. While in law school, Taylor was managing editor of the Drexel Law Review.
