Ksenia Obidina joined the Hogan Lovells Moscow office in 2015. Having received classic law education from most prominent Russian universities, Ksenia has acquired her legal knowledge by being an active member of corporate team at Hogan Lovells.  She has been involved in M&A projects in a broad range of industry sectors including pharmaceutical sector, retail, banking and finance, oil and gas, and aviation. She brings to every project she is part of, her ability to take into account Russian law specifics when dealing with international client as well as domestic clients unfamiliar with Russian legal system.

Representative experience

Advising Sia International Ltd, one of Russia's pharma distributors, on the sale of 50% of shares in Sia International Ltd to a Russian businessman.

Advising Alfa-Group on the US$100m sale of the second largest cinema chain in Russia, Formula Kino, to Russia's Forbes businessman, Mr Alexander Mamut.

Advising Smurfit Kappa on its acquisition of Soyuz, the oldest Russian corrugated packaging company located in Moscow.
