Michael is an associate in the Corporate practice of Hogan Lovells in Singapore. While completing his training contract Michael spent time in Hong Kong and London before returning to London as an associate and going on to take up a secondment in the legal team of a globally-renowned natural resources trading company in Switzerland. This breadth of jurisdictional experience leaves Michael well-placed to advise clients on cross-border transactions in today's increasingly global legal market.

Michael specialises in advising clients on cross-border M&A; corporate matters in the energy and natural resources space and corporate governance matters, particularly "fire-fighting" issues. Having spent time in the legal team of a FTSE-100 corporate, Michael has an acute understanding of the concerns of sophisticated clients whose industries span multiple jurisdictions and demand high-quality, efficient and direct legal advice.

Michael studied English Literature at Christ's College, Cambridge before completing both his Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Moorgate. Michael is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.
