Jeff Nwagbo focuses on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions. His clients include large corporations engaged in complex transactions as well as entrepreneurs navigating the challenges of obtaining funding and growing their business.
He began his career at Hogan Lovells as an LCLD Scholar where he spent the first half of his 1L summer working in-house at Southern California Edison's legal department and the second half working in Hogan Lovells Los Angeles office.
Jeff earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School where he was a Clarence Darrow Scholar (three-year, full-tuition merit scholarship). He recognizes the importance of being client-minded and providing business-centric solutions to legal issues. While in law school, Jeff focused on the intersections between businesses, finance, and law by cross-registering at Ross Business School for courses, including private equity finance, valuation, business strategy, and corporate development. Before law school, Jeff graduated (with distinction) from the University of Toronto, earning a degree in international development with a concentration on development economics.
