Nicole Saurin assists national and international clients from a wide range of industries, with a focus on the life sciences industries, in international proceedings related to product liability and product safety issues in complex disputes. Her expertise includes defending against consumer lawsuits and mass actions in Germany, as well as coordinating and strategizing such proceedings in other jurisdictions.
She has successfully defended her clients in more than 150 German court cases at all levels, including the Federal Court. Nicole Saurin also has experience in defending cases pending before the European Court of Justice.
Nicole Saurin is part of Hogan Lovells' ESG and Artificial Intelligence, Digital Health, Life Sciences team and focuses on defective product liability, particularly in cyberattacks. Together with the project team, Nicole Saurin has established an ESG Litigation Guide for Hogan Lovells, which publishes a detailed and constantly updated overview of globally decided and currently pending ESG-related cases, helping clients to gain an overview of these issues.
