Nico Neukam

Nico Neukam offers hands-on solutions for national and international tax-optimized corporate, acquisition and finance structures. He has a strong focus on helping clients from the industry sectors financial institutions and real estate with complex transactions and restructuring measures. Advising corporate bodies on their day-to-day tax affairs is also within his area of knowledge and experience. 

Nico studied law at the university of Trier and worked at the Institute for Legal Policy at the university of Trier during and after his studies. He is a certified tax advisor. Publishing on a regular basis and holding seminars is part of his legal practice. 

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells in the course of his legal traineeship, Nico worked as a research assistant with major law firms in Dusseldorf and London.

Advising Itochu Corporation Japan und Itochu Europe PLC on the sale of a majority stake in Reifen Gundlach GmbH

Advising multiple banks and companies on ABS transactions

Advising multiple investors (inter alia Henderson Global Investors) on the purchase of commercial property and shopping centres

Advising FMS Wertmanagement after the acquisition of a portfolio consisting of risk assets and non-strategic business units of Hypo Real Estate Group on all foreign and domestic tax issues, particularly in the field of corporate taxes, value added tax, international tax law (in particular Double Taxation Agreements, APA).
