Based in Hanoi, Nga Nguyen is a qualified lawyer and a licensed IP attorney. Nga has 22 years of experience in assisting international companies in all aspects of IP in Vietnam and other countries in the region. Nga has been working in our IPMT Group since 2003; she focuses on general strategic advice and contentious matters, has been acting for numerous well known multi-national companies and has handled hundreds of opposition, cancellation and infringement proceedings.

Nga's practice involves the handling of unfair-competition and domain name disputes, online piracy and counterfeiting, and advising on IPR-related matters, such as technology transfer agreements, product registration, labelling and advertising.In addition, Nga has also handled patent searches and prosecution freedom-to-operate opinions, patent enforcement, as well as general strategic advice, representing numerous well-known patent owners. Specific patent enforcement work includes acting for a well-known Japanese motorcycle and car producer on infringements of its design and invention patents, advising major pharmaceutical companies on their patents, and handling a patent infringement action for a well-known European agro-chemical producer whose pesticide patents were infringed by local agro-chemical producers.
