Telecoms lawyer Gerald Oberst rejoins Hogan Lovells as senior counsel

Washington, D.C., 5 May 2021 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells announced today that Gerald Oberst, a prominent lawyer for the telecommunications industry, has rejoined Hogan Lovells as a senior counsel in its Communications, Internet, and Media practice based in Washington, D.C.

After 24 years as an associate and then partner in Hogan Lovells' Washington, D.C., and Brussels offices, Oberst left the firm in 2012 to serve as Senior Vice President, Global Advocacy, at international satellite operator SES S.A., working in Luxembourg, Brussels, and Washington, D.C. He then served as the General Counsel for 5G Everywhere in America.
