Success story continued: Promotion of finance lawyer Dr. Carla Luh to partner in Hamburg

We are proud to welcome Hamburg-based lawyer Dr. Carla Luh to the Hogan Lovells partnership. As of 1 January 2018 Carla was promoted to partner in the firm's Finance and Infrastructure, Energy, Resources and Projects (IERP) practice.

Carla works in the firm's wider banking and finance practice focusing on various kinds of structured financings, especially on project finance in the infrastructure and energy sector. Carla has successfully worked on some of the largest and most challenging transactions in this sector. These include i.e.: 

— the EUR 1.6bn debt and equity financing and project development of the offshore wind farm Merkur 

— the EUR 1.3bn acquisition and financing of the offshore wind farm Deutsche Bucht by Northland Power Inc. 

— various road PPP financings of the first and the second wave of A-model projects in Germany
