Regulatory lawyer Fernando Calancha Marzana to lead Hogan Lovells in Madrid

16 February 2022 – Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that Fernando Calancha Marzana joins the firm as a partner to lead the regulatory practice in Spain, based in the Madrid office. 

With more than 22 years of experience in highly regulated sectors, Fernando is recognized as an expert in energy and natural resources and a leading lawyer in the Spanish market by key clients. These clients include large corporates, funds and advisory firms.

He has deep regulatory knowledge from his time as State Lawyer and as partner responsible of the regulatory practice PwC, having built the Energy and Natural Resources practice from scratch in 2011. As State lawyer in Spain, he has litigated a wide range of administrative cases and served as Head of Cabinet for the State Department of Energy as well as Chief State Lawyer at the Energy department.
