02 October 2015
WASHINGTON, 2 October 2015 – Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that Washington, D.C. Partners Katie Hellings and Logan Breed were selected as 2015 Mergers & Acquisitions and Antitrust “Trailblazers” by The National Law Journal (NLJ).
The NLJ Trailblazers is a special supplement paying tribute to those who have moved the needle in mergers & acquisitions and antitrust law; recognizing excellence in deal making, restructuring and financing.
Breed was recognized for his work representing AdMob, one of the world's largest mobile advertising platforms, in its acquisition by Google and BlackBerry as a member of the consortium put together to buy Nortel’s patent portfolio out of bankruptcy.
The NLJ highlighted Hellings role at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), where she served as assistant chief of the National Criminal Enforcement Section prior to joining Hogan Lovells. While at the DOJ, Hellings was the lead prosecutor in its investigation into price-fixing and bid-rigging in the auto parts industry, the largest cartel investigation in history, for which she received the Attorney General’s Award for Distinguished Service.
