Stephanie Keen and Biswajit Chatterjee from Hogan Lovells listed in the International A-List of the India Business Law Journal

Partners Stephanie Keen and Biswajit Chatterjee from Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee in Singapore have been identified by India Business Law Journal (IBLJ) as one of the world’s top international lawyers for India-related matters, listing them as members of the “International A-List” of India professionals from around the world. Stephanie and Biswajit co-lead the Hogan Lovells India Desk. Hogan Lovells' India practice consists of lawyers across its global network of offices. The firm's Singapore office is the firm's regional hub for India and South Asia in addition to Southeast Asia.

The India Desk has been boosted with the arrival of Biswajit in July 2021 (read here). Biswajit leads the Singapore Equity Capital Markets team in Singapore and has contributed significantly to the practice, having advised on more than 40 transactions for companies with an aggregate market capitalization of over US$15.56 billion. The team represent a growing roster of leading Indian and international banks and have advised on some of the largest and most widely reported capital market transactions in India.

The “International A-List” identifies top international India top international lawyers for their work on India-related matters. Lawyers from Indian law firms and in-house counsel in India and around the world nominate and name international lawyers who they believe make the cut. Nominations were made by professionals at a wide range of Indian and global companies and Indian law firms.

Hogan Lovells has been recognised by the IBLJ as a leading international firm for our work in India in recent years.

Deal activity in India has once again reached a new record in 2021 surpassing the previous high in 2018 seen before the arrival of the pandemic. Of particular note, our team, led by Stephanie, has been recognised for advising Flipkart Private Limited on its US$3.6 billion funding to accelerate the growth of the consumer internet ecosystem in India, which was selected as a winning deal of the year for 2021 in IBLJ (read here).
