Washington, D.C., and London, 25 June 2020 – Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that the firm has again been recognized by the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) with its Gold Standard Certification in the U.S. and the UK. This is the eighth year in succession that the firm has achieved this important milestone in the U.S., and the second time in the UK since its inception in the region last year.

“Senior management has made diversity and inclusion a priority and it is gratifying to see our efforts recognized,” said Julie-Anne Johnston, UK Diversity and Inclusion Lead for Hogan Lovells. “We are so pleased to be among the group of our peers that have achieved Gold Standard Certification on both sides of the Atlantic. The events of the last few weeks have brought diversity and inclusion into national focus, and the firm is redoubling its efforts to improve diversity and inclusion throughout our legal practice groups and business support functions.”

WILEF awards firms with Gold Standard Certification for meeting specific criteria based on the percentage of women in leading roles, including equity partner, office head, and positions on governance committees. The certification also takes into account diversity and support for women LGBT+ partners.
