Hogan Lovells Wins Three M&A Advisor Awards in New York City

NEW YORK, 20 December 2010 – A team of Hogan Lovells lawyers were recipients of three M&A Advisor Awards at the 9th Annual M&A Advisor Awards and Summit held on 14 December in New York City.

The Hogan Lovells team won the Cross-Border Deal of the Year (deals more than $1 billion), Corporate/Strategic Acquisition of the Year (deals more than $750 million), and Industrial Manufacturing/Distribution Deal of the Year (deals more than $100 million) awards for its work on the sale of Volvo Car Corporation by Ford Motor Company to the Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Company Limited. This transaction allowed Ford, a Hogan Lovells client, to sharpen its focus on the Ford brand around the world and to continue to deliver on its “One Ford” plan serving Ford’s customers with the very best cars and trucks in the world.
