Hogan Lovells Wins IFLR Americas Award for Project Finance Deal of the Year

NEW YORK, 12 April 2011 – Hogan Lovells US LLP was recognized for its work on the Huascacocha project finance transaction at the recent 2011 International Finance Law Review Americas awards ceremony.

The S/.321 million offering of senior secured notes, which also won Project Finance magazine’s 2010 Latin American Water Deal of the Year, involved the first use of a delayed draw tranche on a Peruvian project bond and was used to fund the Huascacocha water infrastructure project in Peru. Hogan Lovells represented The Bank of New York Mellon on the transaction. Rob Ripin led the Hogan Lovells team on this transaction.
