Hogan Lovells Wins Best Graduate Website at The Times Graduate Recruitment Awards 2014
23 April 2014
For the third year running, Hogan Lovells has been voted as having the Best Graduate Recruitment Website, having fought off strong competition from leading recruiters such as Barclays, Land Rover, RBS, Simmons & Simmons and Sky at The Times Graduate Recruitment Awards 2014.
The firm was also shortlisted in the Best Graduate Recruitment Advertisement and Social Media categories, for our Facebook page and our engagement with social media as a whole. There was strong competition from Simmons & Simmons who won the best advertisement and The Royal Navy for their social media campaign.
The awards results are based on an innovative annual study - the UK Graduate Careers Survey - of more than 18,000 final year students, compiled by High Fliers. The survey is the only research to be based entirely on face-to-face interviews with finalists and on-campus research groups with student job hunters. Each survey provides a unique and objective insight into the career expectations and aspirations of final year students, just weeks before they leave university, and provides a definitive record of their search for a graduate job.
The firm is pleased to remain in The Times Top 100 list of graduate employers with the full ranking being officially published in September. Hogan Lovells is now ranked at 83, having overtaken Herbert Smith Freehills, Norton Rose Fulbright and DLA Piper. Slaughter and May and Baker & McKenzie reside at 58 and 67. The highest ranked law firm is Clifford Chance, at 32, followed closely by Linklaters, Allen & Overy and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer residing at 34, 35 and 40 respectively. It is worth noting that all of these firms with the exception of three decreased in their rankings for 2014. There are no other law firms in the Top 100. The top 10 rankings include three of the major accountancy firms, major public sector employers, blue chip corporations and leading retailers.
Our graduate recruitment partner Ben Higson commented:
"We are of course delighted to have won an award for our website for the third year running. We are particularly pleased to be included in the Top 100 ranking, which is a real testament to the firm's standing and profile amongst the UK's top graduates and an impartial endorsement of Hogan Lovells' reputation as a great place to work."
