Hogan Lovells Wins at the 2011 Asia IP Awards

Hogan Lovells has been voted International Patent Firm of the Year 2011 in a poll of in-house counsel organised by Asia IP magazine. The award honors an international firm for its patent expertise in Asia. The firm was shortlisted for six other awards including International Trademark, China Trademark, Hong Kong Patent, Hong Kong Trademark, Vietnam Trademark and Vietnam Patent Firm of the Year.
The Asia IP Awards is an annual awards ceremony hosted by Asia IP, a leading intellectual property magazine in the Asia-Pacific region. Award nominations are based on an extensive poll of in-house counsel around the world to select the top five law firms for trademark and patent law across 16 Asia-Pacific countries.
Hogan Lovells is recognized as having the leading intellectual property practice in Asia with over 70 intellectual property practitioners across Beijing, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo.
Representing Hogan Lovells at the awards dinner held at the Intercontinental Manila in the Philippines was Henry Wheare, Head of the Asia Intellectual Property practice, IP partner Deanna Wong and senior associate Georgia Chiu.
