Hogan Lovells Voted Star Performer in Series of Industry Polls

LONDON, 06 JUNE 2011 - Hogan Lovells has been highlighted as a star performer by the readers of Reactions magazine in its annual client satisfaction survey and voted among the best in a poll conducted by Intelligent Insurer magazine.

Hogan Lovells dominated all four European Union categories in Reactions magazine's annual poll, coming top in corporate contracts, litigation/dispute management, regulatory, and the overall ranking.

The firm also managed to rank overall first in both the United States and Japan.

The survey lauded Hogan Lovells litigation team as being fully "equipped to act effectively in complex cross boarder disputes over insurance and re-insurance issues". It also stated that the firm had a "strong grasp" of all the latest regulatory developments and how they may affect clients.

Meanwhile, Hogan Lovells has also been voted among the best in the insurance industry, according to a poll conducted by UK-based Intelligent Insurer magazine.

The publication's 12,000 readers voted us market leader for UK Regulation, beating Clifford Chance, Clyde & Co, and Reynolds Porter Chamberlain who all came highly commended in the category.

Hogan Lovells was also voted joint market leader alongside Sidley Austin for UK Run-off and was highly commended for UK Claims. The firm was also highly commended for UK Reinsurance.

Hogan Lovells co-chair John Young was listed in the Elite Lawyers for the UK ranking alongside partner Christian Wells and consultant Peter Taylor. Insurance consultant John Powell was also listed in the highly recommended category for Elite Lawyer for the UK.

In the United States, the firm was highly recommended for Litigation and commended for Reinsurance.
