Hogan Lovells team represents IDB and IDB Invest in Corporación Favorita’s US$285 million financing

Washington D.C., 22 January 2020 –International law firm Hogan Lovells has advised the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest) on a secured loan facility for up to US$285.5 million with Ecuadorean consumer company Corporación Favorita C.A., the owner of supermarket Supermaxi.
The financing will be used for the development of new projects and to streamline production.
The Hogan Lovells team included Finance partner Wylie Levone, senior associate Markley Schlegel and associates Senal Ranatunga and Mariana Amaral.
