Hogan Lovells Shortlisted in The Lawyer 2012 Awards

Hogan Lovells has been shortlisted in four categories for The Lawyer Awards 2012. The awards, which recognise the very best in legal excellence, will be presented on 26 June 2012 at a ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
The firm has been shortlisted in the following categories:
- Banking and Finance Team of the Year - for advising on the financing for Duke Street's acquisition of Parabis (Stuart Brinkworth, Partner);
- Competition/Regulatory Team of the Year – for our work advising Morrisons and Safeway on tobacco price fixing claims brought about by the Office of Fair Trading (Suyong Kim, Partner);
- Pro Bono Team of the Year – for our work advising the Libyan National Transitional Council (NTC) on its negotiations with the UK government and De La Rue on the release of approximately 2.1bn Libya Dinar (approx £1.05bn) in banknotes (Jeremy Brittenden, Partner)
- Pro Bono Team of the Year - We have also been shortlisted for our work with Farm Africa, helping it to establish a franchise chain of new veterinary stores (Yasmin Waljee, of Counsel).
