Hogan Lovells Shortlisted for Gender Transparency and Global Diversity Plan

Our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace has been recognised by being shortlisted in the Transparency Award category at the Opportunity Now Excellence in Practice Awards 2014.

This marks the first year that organisations shortlisted for the Opportunity Now Awards also receive a Business in the Community Big Tick.

Opportunity Now is the workplace gender campaign from Business in the Community and the Opportunity Now Excellence in Practice Awards recognise public and private sector organisations that have put gender at the core of their business agendas and are committed to creating inclusive workplaces.

The Big Tick is awarded to organisations who demonstrate significant achievements in their responsible business programme to celebrate and profile their responsible business success. It is recognised as a leading endorsement of responsible business.

We have a global diversity plan that includes a focus on the development, retention and advancement of women lawyers with an objective of increasing the number of women partners.

This year’s winners will be announced at the Opportunity Now Excellence in Practice Awards Gala Dinner, which takes place on Wednesday 2nd April 2014 in London as part of Business in the Community’s Responsible Business Week.

We have a comprehensive strategy to enhance diversity and ensure an inclusive working environment, which means commitment to:

  • recruit, nurture, develop and advance the most talented law students, graduates, lawyers and support personnel;
