Hogan Lovells Shortlisted for City of London Dragon Award - Supporting and Empowering Women

08/07/2014

Founded in 1987, the Dragon Awards are overseen by the Lord Mayor, who is head of the City of London Corporation, which provides local government services for the Square Mile. The first of their kind in the UK, the Awards celebrate community engagement programmes, recognising businesses and public offices that go above and beyond their core work to significantly impact the regeneration of their local communities. Supporting and Empowering Women

Our women's programme takes a holistic approach to supporting and empowering women, which is reflected through our own internal diversity initiatives and our firm's ethos and culture.

By engaging with our local community, we work to reach socially isolated women and to address a wide range of issues affecting them, such as sexual and domestic violence and unemployment. Our education and mentoring programmes also aim to empower girls to achieve their potential, and we work across our global network to support women-led social enterprises with much needed pro bono advice.

The winners of the Dragon Awards will be announced at an annual dinner, hosted by the Lord Mayor of the City of London, held at The Mansion House.
