Silicon Valley, 21 April 2021 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce it has signed an 11 year lease for a new office in the growing Silicon Valley-hub of Redwood City, Calif. The firm will be an anchor tenant in the new building at 855 Main, occupying the building’s complete second floor.

The building and office buildout is expected to be completed early next year, allowing the firm to relocate from its existing Silicon Valley office in Menlo Park in the first half of 2022.

Speaking on the lease, Northern California Co-Managing Partner Nate Gallon said: “We are looking forward to expanding our footprint in Silicon Valley and welcoming clients to our new office. Our new office will help support our growth in Northern California. 855 Main has been restored beautifully and really puts the firm at the heart of historic Redwood City.”

The firm’s Silicon Valley office is expected to experience considerable growth over the next 18 months, adding to its existing successful practices, including its preeminent M&A team led by Rick Climan, Keith Flaum, Jane Ross, and Chris Moore. The team has led on blockbuster deals such as Marvell Technology Group’s acquisition of Inphi Corp., valued at approximately US$10 billion, and Intel’s acquisition of Moovit for approximately US$900 million.

855 Main is located in the heart of downtown Redwood City next to a number of leading technology companies and great dining options. It is a 5-minute walk to Caltrain for a short commute to San Francisco, and features bike storage along with 55 electric vehicle charging stations to complement its two levels of underground parking.
