15 September 2010
WASHINGTON, D.C., 15 September 2010 – Hogan Lovells was named among the InformationWeek 500 list of organizations that use technology in an innovative way to support their business. Hogan Lovells US LLP is ranked highest of five law firms and was ranked 108 overall. The 2010 InformationWeek 500 companies were announced on 14 September 2010, during the InformationWeek 500 Conference and Gala Awards in Dana Point, California.
The InformationWeek 500 annual listing, now in its 22nd year, is unique among corporate rankings, spotlighting the power of innovation in information technology, rather than solely identifying the biggest IT spenders.
"We are very pleased to be included for the second straight year in the InformationWeek 500. It is a tribute to the hard work of our development team, the collaborative environment we enjoy with our lawyers, and our commitment to conceiving and creating useful technology for our clients and partners," said Bill Gregory, CIO of Hogan Lovells US LLP.
"As we start to emerge from the worst recession in decades, the IT focus is now on driving growth—new sources of revenue, new relationships with customers, even new business models. This year’s ranking placed special emphasis on those companies and business technology executives leading that charge," explained InformationWeek Editor-in-Chief Rob Preston.
InformationWeek identifies and honors the nation's most innovative users of information technology, and it also tracks the technology, strategies, investments, and administrative practices of America’s best-known companies.
