LONDON, 11 April 2013 - Hogan Lovells was awarded the #1 ranking for M&A law firms by Dealogic based on the value of global M&A deals the firm advised on in the first quarter of 2013. As reported by Dealogic, Hogan Lovells was number one on global transactions, number one on U.S. transactions, and ranked in the Top 3 on European transactions.

Globally Hogan Lovells advised on transactions worth over $US96 billion in Q1 of 2013.

Hogan Lovells has also seen significant increases in rankings across a number of key regions in the Q1 2013 M&A league tables compiled by Mergermarket, Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg and Dealogic.

Commenting on the Q1 2013 rankings Andrew Skipper and Stuart Stein, global co-heads of Hogan Lovells' corporate practice, said:

"We are very proud of the results achieved by the team worldwide. The global recognition and ranking increases in so many regions is a reflection of our worldwide M&A practice structuring, negotiating and implementing complex M&A transactions for our clients.”
