Hogan Lovells is proud to support DataCovid, an association advised by an expert committee and supported by a think tank, the survey institute IPSOS, with the launch of the first 'COVID-19' Barometer in France. Through this new weekly survey,  DataCovid aims to collect open data to help the scientific community, public authorities and companies to fight the pandemic.

The survey is carried out weekly, providing an overview of French people’s perceptions and behaviours, and their impact on the spread of the disease.

Xenia Legendre, Managing Partner of Hogan Lovells in Paris, commented : "We are delighted to mobilise our capabilities and legal expertise in support of the DataCovid project. As a firm, we are committed to pro bono and Citizenship,  and it is important to us to contribute to the fight against COVID-19 in this way."

Surveying approximately 5000 French people aged 18 and over, the first "COVID-19 Barometer" aims to gather as much information as possible about the symptoms people are experiencing, taking into account medical history, reported rates of diagnosis and testing. It also reports on French people’s compliance with Government guidance regarding self-isolation and the special requirements of vulnerable groups.
