WASHINGTON, D.C. 20 November 2013 – Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that partners Lourdes Catrain, Michael Mason, and Neal Katyal have been named to this year’s Law360 MVP of the Year list, which recognizes elite lawyers’ exceptional work in litigation or transactions between October 2012 and October 2013. This is Law360's third year honoring the top players in the legal industry.

Catrain, Director of Hogan Lovells’ International Trade and Investment practice in Europe, was recognized for her success in securing a victory in a high-profile economic sanctions case before the General Court of the European Union and her involvement in Europe's largest ever trade dispute (solar products from China).

Mason, a partner in the firm’s Government Contracts practice, received commendation for his success in securing numerous victories for the firm’s government contracts clients, specifically including serving as lead counsel in several high-profile bid protest actions.

Finally, Law360 lauded Co-director of the Appellate practice group, and former Acting Solicitor General of the United States, Katyal, for his work before the Supreme Court (including arguing 6 different cases in 14 months) as well as his extraordinary activity in the Courts of Appeals.
