Hogan Lovells Partner Leigh Oliver Named Rising Star by Euromoney Legal Media Group

WASHINGTON, D.C., 10 June 2015 – Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that Washington, D.C. Partner Leigh Oliver received the Rising Star: Corporate Award from Euromoney Legal Media Group Americas Women in Business Law Awards. Oliver, a member of the firm’s Antitrust, Competition and Economic Regulation (ACER) practice, was recognized for her outstanding legal work, particularly in advising companies and boards of directors on antitrust and competition matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and competitor collaborations under federal and state antitrust laws.
At Hogan Lovells since 2004, Oliver has extensive experience defending companies in antitrust agency investigations into prospective and post-consummated mergers and acquisitions, coordinating all aspects of multi-jurisdictional merger reviews, and handling non-merger government investigations. She represents clients from a variety of industries, including healthcare, life sciences, aerospace and defense, energy, and entertainment.
For the past four years, Euromoney Legal Media Group has recognized women leading the field in the legal sector of the Americas and celebrated the achievements of law firms setting the standard in terms of female-friendly work practices. Awards were presented at the Americas Women in Business Law Awards in New York.
