Hogan Lovells Partner Carol Weld King Advised on Americas Lodging Investment Summit's Development of the Year and Single Asset Transaction of the Year

WASHINGTON, D.C., 6 February 2015 – Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that Washington, D.C. corporate real estate partner Carol Weld King advised on the Americas Lodging Investment Summit’s (ALIS) Development of the Year 2014 and Single Asset Transaction of the Year. The ALIS Awards, presented at the annual awards luncheon in Los Angeles, CA, recognize the most influential hotel industry deals based on outstanding business performance.
In the Development of the Year 2014, King led the Hogan Lovells team that advised on the financing of the Marriott Marquis, developed by Quadrangle Development and Capstone Development.
In the Single Asset Transaction of the Year, King also led the team advising on Thayer Lodging Group’s acquisition of the Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Florida. Hogan Lovells advised Thayer in the transaction.
