Hogan Lovells' Mike McGill Named to Law360 Rising Stars List

WASHINGTON, D.C., 17 April 2013 – Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce Washington D.C. partner Mike McGill has been named to this year's Law360 Rising Stars list, which recognizes lawyers under the age of 40 with impressive legal accomplishments in their respective practice areas.
Mike, a member of the Government Regulatory practice, was recognized in the Government Contracts category. He was selected for, among other things, his role in several prominent firm matters, including successfully defending the Department of Defense’s decision to award a reportedly US$4.6 billion Global Information Grid contract to client Lockheed Martin Corp. in a Government Accountability Office (GAO) bid protest filed by a competitor, successfully challenging at GAO an Army decision to award Afghanistan intelligence-support contracts to a competitor of client Mission Essential Personnel, and settling a dispute for client EADS over the termination for convenience of a US$35 billion U.S. Air Force contract to replace the military's aging fleet of in-flight refueling tankers.
