Hogan Lovells Launches Guide to Private Rental Sector

10 September 2014

LONDON, 10 September 2014 - In response to significant growth in the 'private rented sector' (PRS), Hogan Lovells real estate practice has developed a 'Residential Investment Handbook', a tool and reference guide for defining key terms and descriptions used in the industry.

The firm has worked alongside Savills, DCLG and Bespoke Property Consultants to develop the guide, aimed at developers, Local Authorities, planners, viability practitioners and any party involved in the planning and development of rental properties.

Claire Dutch, partner in the Hogan Lovells planning team, commented:

"The private rented sector is now the second largest tenure in England and will continue to grow alongside the buy-to-let landlord/investor market. This is a welcome and necessary tool for the industry and will provide those involved in PRS with the knowledge they require to truly understand the sector in which they are looking to invest."
