Hogan Lovells joins newly launched Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers

The establishment of GAIL represents an important step in the mobilization of lawyers from around the world who seek to have a positive impact on society and the environment. 

The goal of GAIL is to bring lawyers together into a community where they can share knowledge and best practices, support our common efforts, and work for change – all in service of the vision of a sustainable and responsible world economy. Members will support impact businesses, develop new financing structures and lobby for change in corporations, securities, environmental, and other laws. 

GAIL launch week

GAIL will launch on Monday 28 February, with pre-launch events taking place from today. The launch week virtual programme will feature sessions for lawyers on impact investing, purposeful business, climate, ESG, and business and human rights, and Sukhvir Basran, Co-head of Sustainable Finance & Investment, and Lila Alejandra Gasca, Director of Pro Bono – Mexico, will participate in sessions.
