Hogan Lovells invests 250k in Global FinTech Mentors Program

Hogan Lovells has marked the one year anniversary of its Global FinTech Mentors Program with a commitment to allocate £250,000 worth of investment time to FinTechs in 2018.

Through the Program, FinTech organizations in the UK, U.S., Germany and Hong Kong at any stage of development, from start-ups to established momentum players in strong growth mode, can apply for complimentary or subsidised support from Hogan Lovells.

Commenting, Hogan Lovells Head of FinTech and Innovation Emily Reid said:

"We offer FinTechs much more than just legal advice. Hogan Lovells has a history of advising on market firsts, such as the launch of peer-to-peer lending pioneer Zopa; the establishment of the UK's first internet bank; and launching a first of its kind mobile P2P payments service in the UK. Our global FinTech Mentors Program allows us to share our extensive industry knowledge to help companies launch, expand across borders and to be successful."

Applications are welcome throughout 2018 and recipients will be assigned a dedicated relationship manager, who will guide them through maximizing a suite of support options to a maximum value of £25,000 for any one company. These include:

  • Invaluable commercial insight on how financial services businesses can successfully launch and scale-up
