Hogan Lovells' Infrastructure Team Wins Two Global Transport Finance Awards
26 November 2012
Hogan Lovells' Infrastructure group has been recognized for its recent work in the airports and rail sectors by winning two Global Transport Finance Awards, announced at a gala dinner on 16 November 2012.
Over the past two years our Infrastructure team has advised on closed transactions worth over US$100 billion.
Hogan Lovells won the Global Rail Legal Adviser and Global Airport Legal Adviser categories for 2012 in recognition of our work advising on the £570 million Nottingham Express Transit Phase 2 PFI project (NET2), €1.7 billion Nîmes-Montpellier High Speed Railway PPP, US$874 million TAV Airports acquisition by Aéroports de Paris, and £279 million refinancing of Bristol airport.
In their first year, the new Global Transport Finance Awards are the successor to Jane's Transport Finance Awards, widely regarded as the leading industry awards in the transport sector. They recognize and reward outstanding commitment and support to the global transport finance industry by the bankers and lawyers who put together the financing deals for airlines, railways, shipping and roads throughout 2013, and award the most noteworthy transactions of the year across the transport finance sector.
