Hogan Lovells in Hong Kong receives two awards and is nominated for a further five

LONDON, 2nd August 2010 - Hogan Lovells' Hong Kong office has received two awards from Asian-Counsel and five award nominations from Asian Legal Business.

The awards and nominations span a number of practice areas, demonstrating the strength and depth of Hogan Lovells' Hong Kong practice.

Hogan Lovells was named Asian-Counsel's Intellectual Property and Restructuring & Insolvency Firm of the Year in Hong Kong, in the Asian-Counsel Representing Corporate Asia Survey completed by over 15,000 respondents.

Hogan Lovells has also been shortlisted in the following categories of the Asian Legal Business Awards:

·                     Equity Market Deal of the Year - BBMG IPO

·                     Construction Law Firm of the Year

·                     Intellectual Property Law Firm of the Year

·                     Insolvency & Restructuring Law Firm of the Year

·                     Hong Kong Law Firm of the Year

The awards dinner will be held on 10 September 2010 at JW Marriott Hotel in Hong Kong.

This recognition follows on from recent accolades across the region including winning the China M&A Deal of the Year and the SE Asia Islamic Finance Deal of the Year from the Asian Legal Business China and SE Asia awards respectively.

So far in 2010 Hogan Lovells in Asia has won 11 awards and earned a further 23 nominations across all practice areas, which is testament to the firm's leading reputation in the region.
