Hogan Lovells Hires Top Privacy and Data Protection Lawyer To Play Leading Role in Firm’s Global Practice

LONDON, 10 OCTOBER 2013 - Hogan Lovells has hired partner Eduardo Ustaran to join its global Privacy and Information Management practice. He will be based in the London office and manage the firm’s European capability in this area.

Eduardo has many years' experience in privacy and data protection law and will join the firm from Field Fisher Waterhouse, where he built and led the Privacy and Information Law Group. He advises clients across a range of sectors including energy, life sciences, media and entertainment, public sector, retail as well as technology and communications.

He is recognised as a leading practitioner in the European Union for privacy and data protection work, and was named by Revolution Magazine as one of the 40 most influential people in the growth of the digital sector in the UK. He is also highly ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners legal directories.
