Hogan Lovells has made the top 40 of the Stonewall Top 100 Employers 2019 Workplace Equality Index

Awards & rankings | 21 January 2019

Coming in at no. 34, Hogan Lovells ranks in the Stonewall Top 100 Employers for the 9th consecutive year. The recognition reflects the firm's continued commitment to greater inclusivity in the workplace for people of all gender and sexual orientations.

The Stonewall Top 100 Employers are the best performing employers on Stonewall’s Workplace Equality Index 2019, an annual audit of workplace culture for lesbian, gay, bi and trans staff. The index measures progress on policy and practice, employee engagement, employee development and support, monitoring, community engagement, the number of openly gay, lesbian or bisexual employees at senior levels within the organisation, and the results from a staff feedback survey.

Sian Owles, partner and Co-Chair of Hogan Lovells' UK Pride network, said:

"Ranking consistently in the Stonewall Top 100 Employers recognises that we are championing LGBT+ inclusion in everything that we do. Hogan Lovells has created an inclusive workplace that enables everyone to be themselves; from our recruitment and training processes through to our engagement with clients."

Hogan Lovells has a comprehensive strategy reflected in its global diversity plan to enhance diversity and ensure an inclusive working environment, which means commitment to:

  • Embed a culture of inclusion and engage all members globally in the firm's diversity agenda
